Donations.

Donate now.

As a self-funded not-for-profit organisation, we don't receive any type of ongoing government funding to help us provide food and assistance to those in need within our community. We are extremely grateful for any financial donation, be it large or small to help us continue to offer these badly needed services.

All monetary donations over $2 are tax deductible as we are registered as a Public Benevolent Institution and endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) with the Australian Taxation Office.

You can now donate online below, and will receive an automatic receipt by email.

In Person

Financial donations can be made in person at our office at 60 Mollison Street, Kyneton, via cash payment, cheque or by EFTPOS - please ask for Julie Devlin or Lisa Jackson.

Direct Bank Deposit or EFT

Financial donations can also be made via a direct deposit into our bank account, or via electronic funds transfer (EFT). Our bank account details are:

Bank Commonwealth Bank

N.B. Please remember to send us an email or ring us to tell us you have made the donation, so that we have your contact details to say THANKS and provide you with a receipt for your tax purposes. We understand if you wish for your donation to be anonymous, however we would still like the chance to thank you for your generosity.

Donate Food

The Kindness Collective Foodbank

While do receive some larger donations of food and other goods through our relationships with Foodbank Victoria, Bendigo Foodshare, and a number of local food/grocery businesses, we are always grateful for donations of a range of items that are in high demand. These items include food, drinks, toiletries, cleaning supplies, etc.

If you do want to contribute food or other items, it is a good idea to contact us first to find out if there are particular items or types of food we need for the foodbank at that time. As a general rule of thumb, when purchasing goods to donate to our foodbank, we would appreciate more of the cheaper home brands than less of the expensive brand name items. For example, before purchasing one packet of pasta for $3, please consider purchasing 3 packets of the 90 cent pasta.

Donate Goods to the Op Shop

As our op shop is one of our primary sources of funding, which makes the free foodbank possible, we are always grateful for donations that we can sell in the shop. Please drop items to our shop (60 Mollison Street, Kyneton) - preferably during our opening hours. If you have a lot to donate and don't have transport to get it to us, we may be able to arrange to pick it up from. Please call us on 03 5422 1163 to make arrangements.

At this stage we do not have room for large furniture items, however the Preloved Pedlar Shop in Mollison Street may be able to accept these.

Please note, that while we always appreciate goods received, we are not able to sell broken, stained or incomplete items and would appreciate if these things were not donated.
